Dr. John Lee, M.D. is the president/CEO of ONE SLEEPMED® (JOHN LEE MD SLEEP CENTER INC.) He is board certified specialist in Sleep Medicine and Obesity Medicine (Weight Management), formal Gastroenterology Fellow at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center as well as experienced Internist. Our philosophy is to provide utmost highest standard medical services in a warm and caring environment.
"Establishing a professional relationship with a doctor is of utmost importance," he said. "This allows your doctor to get to know your health situation which makes it easier to detect when something changes or when something is wrong, leading to early treatment and better outcomes"
As a caring husband and father of three children, he holds the belief system that all people should have access to quality and value care.
Dr. Lee is a triple board-certified physician-scientist specializing in Sleep Medicine, Obesity Medicine (Weight Management), and Internal Medicine. He got accepted to (matched to) highly competitive Gastroenterology Fellowship at Washington Hospital Center (affiliated with Georgetown University) and experienced the fellowship before sub-specializing in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Lee achieved exceptional scores 99/99 on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), demonstrating his commitment to excellence and data mastery. This background enables him to provide high-standard, evidence-based medical care to his patients. He completed his medical training at prestigious university-based medical centers, including the University of Southern California, University of Minnesota/Veterans Affairs/Hennepin Healthcare, and experienced Gastroenterolgy Fellowship at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital.
He approaches patient care with both respect and kindness, treating each individual as if they were a member of his own family. His philosophy is to care for his patients in the same manner that he would wish to be treated if he were in their position.
He listens attentively to patient histories and conducts thorough examinations, including physical assessments and appropriate diagnostic testing. This comprehensive approach ensures accurate diagnoses and enables him to deliver effective, individualized treatment plans.
